About the BoatSmart HQ Application

BoatSmart HQ is a vessel management application used to perform and document inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities for recreational vessels. The application is used by boat owners and BoatSmart HQ First Mates, as well as other participants in the marine industry, including marinas, marine brands, service providers, and insurance partners, to record vessel condition, maintenance history, and supporting documentation in a consistent and auditable format.

• Creates and manages vessel profiles, including identifying details and ownership information
• Records vessel inspection reports and inspection outcomes
• Uploads and stores photos, videos, and maintenance documentation
• Tracks safety, mechanical, and compliance status over time
• Schedules inspections, maintenance, and follow-up actions
• Records maintenance activities and service history
• Shares inspection reports and documentation with boat owners, service providers, marinas, and insurance partners where appropriate
